WOMEN TRAVEL LEADERS

WTL started as a series of gatherings in San Francisco, where industry professionals bonded through shared meals, outdoor adventures, and coaching sessions. Over time, these gatherings blossomed into a global network with regional chapters all over the world and regular in person events and business retreats designed to help leaders in the travel industry thrive. 

Women Travel Leaders was formalized as a professional association and community of respected industry professionals in 2020 by travel visionaries Jennine Cohen and Catherine Gallagher, both of whom share a passion for supporting fellow travel leaders through connection and growth. 

Today, our members - who are connecting all over the world - find support and value in both virtual and in-person events.

Jennine Cohen

Jennine brings over 20 years adventure and luxury travel experience and is a speaker, retreat facilitator, and coach. She’s been featured in The New York Times, Afar, National Geographic, Forbes, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel & Leisure, and Vogue, amongst others notable publications.  

As a Forbes Changemaker, she is a transformative leader blending holistic coaching with strategic expertise. She teaches practical strategies to connect clients with their higher wisdom and intuition, stay grounded in the unknown, and encourages clients to embrace a state of flow in their businesses and their lives. Clients that work with Jennine feel equal parts energized and peaceful as they renew and reconnect with their purpose. 

Outside of work, she is a lifelong learner and adventurer, passionate about kite surfing, yoga & fitness, and dance. Her personal mission is to live an inspired life and embody a feminine version of leadership that brings peace and love to the center so that she may share it.

Catherine Gallagher

Catherine is the Co-founder of Women Travel Leaders. With a background in luxury adventure travel and experience running her own boutique travel business, she recognized the need for a space where like-minded female founders could connect, ask questions, and collaborate with operators who genuinely care about their craft. After welcoming her daughter in 2018, Catherine retrained as a life and business coach, embarking on a new chapter as a mastermind facilitator.

With over a decade of experience in the luxury and adventure travel industries, Catherine is passionate about building communities. She believes that community is the future of business and that uniting women-led businesses can pave the way for a more peaceful world.

Catherine has been featured in Outside Magazine, Connections Luxury, Women Talking, Soul of Travel, and Truth Behind Travel.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Catherine is a dedicated mom, lifelong learner, and adventurer. She loves climbing, yoga, travel, and good food. Her greatest adventure is raising her daughter and sharing with her a love for travel, the outdoors, and the belief that business can be a force for good. Catherine’s personal mission is to elevate the planet’s vibration through heart-centered leadership.

Since joining WTL in its early days in 2020, she has evolved from a Virtual Assistant to roles in Community, Admin, and Project Management, showcasing her adaptability and commitment to growth.

    WTL Senior Mastermind Facilitator & Business Coach

    Brings over 25 years of experience in the adventure and outdoor industries. A certified coach trained in Dare to Lead™, she specializes in empowering purpose-driven leaders and guiding travel professionals to build impactful businesses.

    Formerly the President of the Adventure Travel Trade Association, Casey is dedicated to championing women in leadership and has been recognized as one of Wanderlust Travel’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Travel.

    As a Senior Advisor and Elite Group Mastermind facilitator at Women Travel Leaders, she thrives on supporting passionate women in the community, inspired by their unmatched generosity of spirit and commitment to sharing advice and support through WTL platforms and in-person events.

    WTL Retreats Director

    With over 15 years of experience hosting over 200 retreats, Coco is passionate about creating transformative spaces that foster connection and understanding. As the founder of Alba Wellness, she helps retreat leaders and properties design journeys that leave lasting impacts on individuals and communities.

    At Women Travel Leaders, Coco brings her expertise to life by curating in-person events that inspire growth and collaboration. Based in Spain with her family, she values the slow life, cherishing the small moments while championing wellness, humanitarian values, and authentic connections that drive meaningful change.

    Coco believes that “Travel is not just about the places we visit; it's about the bonds we create, the stories we share, and the understanding we cultivate within ourselves and with others.”

  • Ellie Boulstridge

    WTL Content Creator & Marketing Strategist

    With over 15 years experience in the world of travel and hospitality, Ellie is a seasoned business strategist and marketing consultant.

    As part of her Marketing agency, Chiron Hotel Consulting, she works closely with founders in the travel space - predominantly female - to help their businesses be the best they can be.

    She advises on Marketing for WTL, and loves being part of a global team of kind and inspiring women. Her passion is helping others by being strategic, authentic and compassionate. Problem-solving is her second nature and her belief is that work can nearly always be fun.

    An international upbringing and nomadic lifestyle mean that she is nearly always on the move. She loves discovering, learning and connecting.
